Volunteering

As part of a running community, we are committed to giving back. In the past, we have helped by being
race pacers at CBHM and CHaD Half, parking cars at MWRR, manning water stations, helping with
registration, coaching in the C25K program;,helping at the club’s social events, driving the van to away
races, etc.

Before each event, we will send out an email about volunteer needs. We will set up Google
Docs for various events as they occur, where volunteers can sign up. Watch the UVRC email list for these volunteer opportunities. Then, at the end of the year, we will give out prizes. Last year, it was UVRC trucker hats!
