October 2020 Board Meeting

6:00 pm via Zoom meeting.

Agenda/Action Items for October Meeting, 10/12/20

Website:

Update Covid 19 guidelines.  Amanda’s addition is good.

Action Item: Jim will review the website for Covid alerts and 

• Valley News article: 

Action Item: Dorcas will follow through and contact Jared Pendak at the Valley News about encouraging runners to join. From September notes: “ include in Valley News article - join in October, get a membership through December 2021.” 

• TNT:

Commuter Equivalent Challenge

• Getting People involved: 

Hannah/RJ idea: meet up with new members or prospective members take them on a run to welcome them. 

• Getting 2021 members enrolled:

Alex is working with Krissy to set up sign ups.

• Website:

Alex: moving our website from one server to ‘DreamHost’ server; process can be ‘bumpy’; scheduled to start on Saturday 10/17/20; email could be disrupted. 

Action Item: Alex is looking for a backup or lead person for email support.

• Charities:

 Jim: consensus of the board is that our policy when contacted by charities for donations, we would not contribute to as a club, but would encourage members to consider supporting. 

• Winter TNT at Occom Pond:

There are enough community and Dartmouth members using the area that we don’t want to show up en masse without masks - Town of Hanover and Dartmouth College want us to be role models for their communities.
